The Koi season is very much in full swing and many hobbyists will be taking advantage of the natural increase in temperatures, and pushing the growth of their Koi. For veterans of the hobby, you will be aware of the impact on water quality when you increase feeding, but for those new to the hobby, or not so experienced with growing Koi, pay attention to our upcoming two-part Beginner’s Corner series on growing your Koi, starting in issue 14 of Koi Talk.
Issue 14 is due to arrive with subscribers from 11 June onwards. If you’re a magazine subscriber look out for it landing in your letterbox! If you’re not yet a subscriber check out our Koi Talk Back Issues catalogue, they’re all available to buy individually, and issue 14 will be added shortly.
Koi Talk Podcasts are here and take over from episodes 1-5 of our Sofa Chats! They’re a great way to listen to our advice – either in the car as many of our listeners do, or if you’re relaxing at home or in the garden, next to your pond. All of our Podcasts are available on a number of different platforms, including Spotify, Apple, Google and Amazon Music.
If you prefer to watch rather than listen we also film every single one of our Koi Talk Podcasts. They are available on on our YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/koitalkmagazine
In the upcoming September issue (issue 6) of Koi Talk, Ricky Stoddart delves into opinions on why male Koi fish are often a better purchase. If you can’t wait for your magazine to land in your letterbox here’s a taste of the article!
