Following recent delays with the magazine schedule and increasing production costs we’ve taken the decision to temporarily pause Koi Talk subscriptions, and we will not be taking a subscriber payment on 25 May. We’re planning to reinstate subscriptions from 25 June, with the next magazine (issue 24) to be distributed in early July.
We know that many of our loyal readers will be disappointed by this pause, particularly as we head towards the summer; the most enjoyable time of the year for any Koi hobbyist, but we are working hard behind the scenes to ensure we come back stronger than ever!
Over recent months we’ve experienced delays in articles being provided from some contributors, and we are working hard to overcome this for future issues. With the price of printing and other costs increasing we’re also feeling the financial pressure, and during this pause we’ll be working through plans to consider other ways we can continue to grow the magazine and other Koi Talk channels. This potentially includes a digital version of the magazine which so many overseas readers have been asking for.
Since the launch of Koi Talk we have developed such a caring and loyal customer base, and on behalf of our team I thank you for your support during this pause.
